Chesterfield Open Market - Click to expand Chesterfield is a thriving market town on the edge of the Peak National Park. It was first settled by the Romans. Its most notable feature is the twisted parish tower built in the 14th century. Chesterfield open air market was first held in the 12th century and is one of the largest in England.
