Why should we book with EST?
We provide quality home stay programmes and a first class personalised service. We know the latest attractions and can easily deal with last minute requests for bookings. We are on the spot and can quickly solve any problems the client might have. Moreover, we are often able to obtain reduced price or free entry tickets to many of Britain's attractions and ALL our prices are GUARANTEED.
 
Why stay with families instead of going to an hotel?
Because pupils have a unique opportunity to experience family life in another country. Teachers are also able to relax after the day's excursions either with their host family or go out as they wish.
 
Can you arrange coach travel in the UK?
Yes. At your request we will arrange transport for the whole of your stay in the UK.
 
Is it possible to go to more than one centre?
Yes. Many schools split their stay between London and a country centre. There is an additional charge equivalent to £5 per pupil for this facility.
 
Who do we contact if help is needed when we are in the UK?
The local organiser meets the group each morning and evening to deal with any possible problems. If there is an emergency and she is unavailable, the EST office is usually manned outside office hours.
 
When will we have names and addresses of host families?
The family list will be sent by fax or letter about two weeks before departure. Pupils will normally be placed in 2's and 3's.
 
What can be expected from the families?
Prospective families are visited by the local organiser to ensure that their homes are clean and welcoming. Families provide full-board, collect their guests by car on the first evening and return them by car on the last morning. Many collect and return during their stay but, if they are unable to do so, will always ensure that pupils know their way to the coach park.
